Founders Derrick, Daniel and Eu Jin began as students and employees later at VI College. They also experienced the same confusion, misinformation and costly mistakes that crushed most investors.
When the 2022 market crash wiped out portfolios across the market, the real problem in the stock education industry became obvious. Investors lost money not because they did not buy expensive programs. They lost money because the theories taught in those 5-figure programs failed when tested under a real market crash.

Formerly a Trainer at VI College, he designed advanced courses in value investing and options strategies that gave investors an unfair advantage in the market.
He’s known in the BIA community for high-conviction calls like CrowdStrike, Shopify and Sea Ltd in 2023 which have delivered exceptional returns to investors.
Derrick has taken dozens of investors who were sitting on 70% losses from the 2022 market crash and coached them back to breakeven and profit in just 2 years.
As a private fund manager at Better Investing Academy, he oversees BIA’s corporate portfolio while fostering a supportive investor community.
His mission is to empower individuals to achieve their financial goals through expert guidance and proven strategies.

Daniel Lim is an experienced stock investor and coach with over a decade of hands-on experience in value and growth investing.
He has coached over 1,500 investors across 200+ hours of live training.
As a former Speaker and Trainer at VI College, he delivered value and growth investing programs to both English and Malay audiences and earned a reputation as a trusted educator and coach.
As one of the early investors who spotted Palantir at USD15, he guided many investors to capture 300% to 500% returns from this stock alone.
Daniel has achieved a 290% return on his personal portfolio since 2023 while investors under his guidance have compounded more than 200% over the same 3-year period.
Today, he leads BIA’s public coaching sessions and also actively supports the BIA community with his analysis and insights to help investors navigate the stock market with confidence.
